| Duties & Responsibilites : | Looking for Java developer who are is versed in enterprise development using middle-tier and backend technologies.We are looking for team players who can still work independently with a wide range of skills and interests, focused on creating clean APIs, efficient accurate algorithms, and multi-threaded solutions to computationally-intensive problems.
Successful candidates will be able to write multi-threaded Java, build maintainable efficient algorithms, and provide front-end consumer code with clean and easy-to-use APIs.
-Participate as a member of the scrum team to understand and complete user stories
-Design and code Services, DAOs, and other backend artifacts in Java
-Communicate with front-end developers regarding the API required to support the UI
-Write Unit Tests for new or revised functionality
-Coordinate and Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA/QC) team to design and execute acceptance tests to prove new or revised functionality is correctly implemented
-Resolve reported defects in a timely manner
-Debug code to find and fix functional issues
-Profile code to find and fix performance issues
-Follow secure coding practices to avoid vulnerabilities
Required Skills Experience
-Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field/degree (or equivalent experience)
-5-7 years of relevant work experience
-Java fluency, RDBMS competency, and SQL literacy
Desired Skills and Experience
-Strict engineering discipline and considerate behavior as a member of a team
-Experience in complete software development lifecycle (SDLC)
-Familiarity with Agile methodologies, especially scrum
-Ability to learn quickly and work independently
-A healthy “Do-it-yourself” attitude that inspires you to figure out issues on your own until it would be negligent to waste any more time before asking for help |
