| Duties & Responsibilites : | - The current software product (ACCESS 97) is no longer supported. Existing coding is fragile and unwieldy and does not allow IID to make changes.
Despite the fact that we now receive 75% of our filings electronically through a proprietary system, we still have to manage the data and perform analysis.
- A redesign of the input screens will reduce the amount of time necessary to create new records based on paper filings.
- IID has retained a business analyst who has documented current processes, is defining requirements and studying redesign of the screens and tab order to increase security and input speed.
- The redesign will include a new numbering system with safeguards for better accuracy in maintaining filing identification.
Designer must be familiar with ACCESS 97, .NET, Java
Required Skills:
-Visual Basic with .net-Required-7 Years
-Familiar with SQL functions and reporting-Required-7 Years
- SQL migration from 2002 to 2012-Highly desired-6 Years
- Ability to design and code a new front-end application to receive and process registrations-Required-7 Years
- Experience with mapping data internally to SQL-Required-7 Years
- Experience working with third-party vendors who send daily files that IID must process and store.-Required-7 Years
- Ability to review existing code in ACCESS 97 and create new functionality in VB-Desired-5 Years
- Ability to utilize SSIS in SQL-Required-7 Years
- Alternative to Visual Basic with .net - - C# with .net would be considered-Required-7 Years
- Ability to create all necessary reports-Required-7 Years
