Oracle Health Sciences ClearTrial Cloud Services is growing its team and seeking highly skilled web developers who are well versed in front-end and middle-tier technologies alike.
-We are looking for team players who can still work independently with a wide range of skills and interests, focused on creating rich internet applications (RIAs) with responsive UIs.
-Successful candidates will be able to write _javascript_ code as well as they write Java code, jump from designing a beautiful screen layout to building an efficient algorithm, know the RGB codes for web-friendly colors as well as the regular _expression_ syntax to white-list validate an email address.
-Participate as a member of the scrum team to understand and complete user stories
-Write Struts MVC Controllers, JSPs, and _javascript_ code to manifest the user interface
-Communicate with back-end developers regarding the API required to support the UI
-Write Unit Tests for new or revised functionality
-Coordinate and Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA/QC) team to design and execute acceptance tests to prove new or revised functionality is correctly implemented
-Resolve reported defects in a timely manner
-Debug code to find and fix functional issues
-Profile code to find and fix performance issues
-Follow secure coding practices to avoid vulnerabilities
Required Skills & Experience:
-Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field/degree (or equivalent experience)
-5-7 years of relevant work experience
-Java and _javascript_ fluency, HTML competency, and CSS literacy
-Real experience with _javascript_ and AJAX that goes beyond field validation
-Java,J2EE,JSP,Ajax,ASP .NET AJAX UI Controls
-Apache POI experience (Java API for Microsoft documents)
Desired Skills and Experience
-Strict engineering discipline and considerate behavior as a member of a team
-Experience in complete software development lifecycle (SDLC)
-Familiarity with Agile methodologies, especially scrum
-Ability to learn quickly and work independently
-A healthy “Do-it-yourself” attitude that inspires you to figure out issues on your own until it would be negligent to waste any more time before asking for help |
