| Duties & Responsibilites : | -The Sr. Sourcing and Supplier Manager will lead moderate supplier sourcing initiatives and support the Sr. Strategic Sourcing Managers on complex/strategic sourcing initiatives.
-They will define category/supplier strategies and implement best practice category management and strategic sourcing initiatives.
-The Sourcing Manager will be expected to track category performance relative to targets and conduct supplier reviews for assigned suppliers.
-They will also provide coaching to Commodity Managers as needed.
•Communicates with procurement team leadership and relevant business unit stakeholders regarding category strategies, contracts, and status of projects.
•Presents information as needed to leadership, peers and teams.
•Supports Sr. Strategic Sourcing Managers on complex/strategic sourcing initiatives.
•Leads/supports strategic sourcing intiatives including, but not limited to:
•Spend analysis; Supply market analysis; Supplier analysis; RFI/RFP build; Negotiations (including auctions), Contracting, Outsourcing/offshoring, Product Lifecycle Management, and Building Business Cases
•Track and manage category performance relative to targets and report to reporting team.
•Primary responsibility for ongoing category management including supplier on-boarding, supplier performance reviews, monitoring of contract T&Cs, executing contract amendments, communicate demand forecast and resolving supplier issues as needed.
•Identifies future sourcing opportunities; leverage knowledge of suppliers, supply base, and market conditions to determine when to re-visit the Strategic Sourcing process.
•Implements leading category management and strategic sourcing best practices. Provides coaching to Commodity Managers on leading sourcing practices

MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS / COMPETENCIES:
•5+ years strategic sourcing experience within a technical field
•Ability to demonstrate key procurement skills: Development / management of category strategies; RFP / RFI development, contract negotiations, strategic sourcing, management of supplier relationship lifecycle, understanding of risk mitigation principles, and understanding of various cost evaluation methods (TCO, ROI, Payback Period, etc.)
•Experience developing business strategy, writing business cases, conducting market intelligence research, and participating in negotiation strategy and tactics.
•Knowledge of procurement tools, automation, and operations (e.g. eRFPs, eAuctions and other eTools)
•Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to clearly and concisely communicate information at multiple levels, adapting easily to change.
•Intermediate contracting skills – knowledge of contracting principles, laws, regulations and industry standards.
•Proficient in Microsoft® suite.
•Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
•Experience in sourcing analytic skills (RFP Evaluation, spend analytics, etc)
