| Duties & Responsibilites : | The successful candidate will provide analysis and coordination of work performed by the enterprise infrastructure teams. The scope of the work may include midrange, desktop, security, and network.
The candidate will develop an understanding of the services offered by these teams in order to facilitate communication between teams and with our internal IT customers.
The candidate will interact on a daily basis with infrastructure engineers and project managers from a variety of infrastructure and application teams.
Specific responsibilities may include the following:
• Meeting with customer project teams to identify the enterprise infrastructure services required
• Estimation of project and operating costs associated with these enterprise services
• Monitoring projects to capture and communication status and issues
• Coordination with hosting vendors on their role in delivery and support of enterprise services
• Assistance with financial and/or contractual analysis of enterprise services
• Assistance with ad hoc departmental data analysisQualifications
• Computer science background required; related college degree preferred
• 4+ years infrastructure experience - midrange experience is required; knowledge of desktop, security, and network is desired
• Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills required
• Extensive experience with MS Excel and MS Powerpoint
• Knowledge of basic Project Management principles
• Self-motivated; able to work independently on multiple assignments
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; able to communicate effectively with multiple management layers and across a broad base of users
• Knowledge of managed hosting environments, general business processes, quality controls, cost controls and other techniques for delivering project products in a timely and cost effective manner is desired
