| Duties & Responsibilites : | Project Description: Implement a new version of a meter data management system.
• Write queries to locate specific data and get that data prepared and moved/staged to be used during testing
• Identify required data needed for each scenario that requires testing
• Modify, manipulate, or create test data to meet testing conditions and different test scenarios
• Adhere to standards with regard to testing methodology, documentation, and quality assurance
• Work closely with the IT team and Business User testers to support the testing work
• Assist with developing a comprehensive/repeatable set of test cases for various applications to ensure the thorough testing of the involved systems
Required Skills and Experience:
• Strong database search capabilities
• Testing experience including setup and execution
• Working knowledge of software test methodologies
• Experience with different software testing techniques
• Good communication, interpersonal, organizational and writing skills
• Attention to detail
• Team player
• Exhibits integrity in all decisions and actions
Preferred Skills and Experience:
• Electric utilities industry experience
• Familiarity with Advanced Metering Infrastructure
• Working knowledge of Quality Center (Test Case/Tracking Tool)
• Familiarity with involved data types including meter interval data
• and meter read data
