| Duties & Responsibilites : | Designs and develops internal and external business systems/applications, systems interfaces, databases, reporting, or business intelligence systems, as required to deliver new systems functionality supporting corporate business objectives.
Essential Functions:
• Implement high quality, scalable, and extendable SharePoint 2007 end-to-end solutions, using either out-of-the-box or custom functionality.
Design and develop automated reporting solutions
• Design and developing custom SharePoint Web parts and components.
• Code, debug, test, and implement solutions in SharePoint 2007environments, using Visual Studio and SharePoint Designer.
• Working familiarity with source code control and versioning systems, such as Microsoft Visual SourceSafe and Team Foundation Server, AccuRev, Perforce, Git, Subversion, CVS, etc.
• Develop, implement, or perform unit testing for all assigned deliverables.
• Able to develop, code, test, and deploy practical, scalable solutions based detailed technical designs.
Required Skills:
Professional experience in the following areas:
• Working knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and 2010; SharePoint Designer 2007 and 2010; Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 and SharePoint Foundation 2010
• Experience using two or more development languages or tools from the following list: (_javascript_, C#, ASP.Net, C++, Java, J2EE Application Framework, Windows Shell/PowerShell scripting, Microsoft Transact SQL, Siebel, Oblix, etc.)
• Designing and developing applications on an RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL, or Microsoft SQL)
• Development experience on at least one project with total project team size greater than three team members
• Experience working with at production business applications/systems and providing development team production support
• At least one year of experience with .NET programming (C# or C++); developing with SharePoint, SharePoint Designer, Microsoft SQL Server, and .Net technologies in SharePoint 2007/2010 environments
• Working as a professional software developer using programming /systems analysis skills on Microsoft platforms in roles requiring strong knowledge and skills
• With application prototyping, construction, implementation, deployment, and integration with Quality Assurance
Additional Skill:
• Microsoft SharePoint certifications (MCITP, MCPD) a plus.
• Understanding of agile development methodologies, such as Scrum, Extreme and Pair Programming, and Test-Driven Development is a plus.
• Experience as a software developer in the wireless industry is a plus.
Education
• B.S. Computer Science or Management Information Systems or equivalent experience.
