| Duties & Responsibilites : | Essentially, it is a back-end "shopping cart" eCommerce platform with it's own scripting languages, and uses _javascript_ to generate pages. Position Description: Demandware Developer (1)
Day-to-Day: Will likely start out with bug fix maintenance for relaunch of webstore and then dive into new Dev for the customer service portal projects and site migrations.
Requirements:
-Front-end development experience using HTML and _javascript_
-Back-end/server side experience using Demandware
-Experience with code versioning systems (Subversion preferred)
-Experience with IDE (Intergrated Development Environment) (Eclipse preferred, this is what they use for Demandware programming)
-Experience with responsive design (mockups are created by an external partner of Marketing, developers build off of these in Demandware to make them functional).
Any/all design would be responsive. Tools:
-Demandware, _javascript_, HTML, Eclipse, jQuery
-The candidates must have Demandware
-2+ years Demandware (will consider experience within other eCommerce platforms, but Demandware has own scripting languages so this is strongly preferred)

-ASP/JSP
-Eclipse

-Subversion
-code versioning system
Plusses: -Demandware cert.
Projects this person will support:1. OtterBox is currently launching the redesign of their webstore by the end of October. With the relaunch will likely come a large volume of bug fix maintenance. 2. OtterBox will be adding a Customer Service portal onto their webstore. This will require added functionality to be developed. 3. OtterBox will be migrating LifeProof.com and the Asia/Pacific region of OtterBox.com onto Demandware in 2015. This will require spinning up a new site based off of the current site. |
