| Duties & Responsibilites : | -The Program Manager (PM) designs, plans, and coordinates work teams.
-The Program Manager (PM) Mentor, counsel and direct vendors to enforce and document accountability to project deliverables.
-Assist in review of vendor proposals and project plans and identify alternatives when necessary.
-Manage the vendor portfolio from a strategic vendor relationship management prospective.
-Understand the overall business and strategic initiative goals as well as the timelines of those goals.
-Develop efficient and reliable metrics for measuring program and project progress towards those goals.
-Work to ensure that vendors meet or exceed their contractual obligations by delivering quality products and services on time.
-Proven ability to develop effective relationships and to work at all levels of the company including senior and executive management.
-Experience working effectively across divisional or department lines in a complex organization.
-Experience negotiating large external vendor contracts.
-Results oriented and possess excellent analytical, facilitation and strategic planning skills.
-Extensive experience with large-scale enterprise wide project and program management; including skills and in depth understanding of project management methodology, project management planning, issue tracking and reporting, etc
on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
-Usually reports to a senior manager.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
8 to 10 years of experience.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, performs a variety of complicated tasks, may lead and direct the work of others, may report directly to a project lead or manager, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
-Project Manager Experience Required 6 Years
-MS Project Required 3 Years
-Manage the vendor portfolio from a strategic vendor relationship management prospective. Required 6 Years
-Assist in review of vendor proposals and project plans and identify alternatives when necessary. Required 6 Years
-Application Development project experience Required 3 Years
-Experience interfacing with third party vendor product implementation and intregration Required 3 Years
-Mentor, counsel and direct vendors to enforce and document accountability to project deliverables Required 6 Years
-Develop efficient and reliable metrics for measuring program and project progress towards those goals. Required 3 Years
-PMBOK project methodology experience Required 3 Years
-Background in mixed data center environments that include AIX and Windows based servers, networking, as well as mainframe equipment Required
-Extensive experience with large-scale enterprise wide project and program management;
-Required Skills and in depth understanding of project management methodology, project management planning, issue tracking and reporting, etc

-PMI certification Desired Results oriented and possess excellent analytical, facilitation and strategic planning skills. Desired
