| Duties & Responsibilites : | -In this key leadership role, you will be a ScrumMaster for distributed platform teams.
-The Scrum Master will act as the evangelist of all things Agile.
-You will apply expert judgment to keep teams focused, remove impediments and deliver success in a fast-paced environment.
-You have a strong desire for continuous improvement and the ability to build a delivery-focused, highly collaborative culture within the teams.
-Success in the role requires you to support and enable the success of your team, develop stellar cross functional relationships at all levels of the organization, and demonstrate strong technical skills and business acumen.
-You should have a strong sense of personal accountability and be excited by the challenge of working in an Agile and innovative environment.
-You should also have a proven record of success working in an Agile environment.
-Experience in and with platform engineering teams is a huge plus.
Key Responsibilities:
•Be a working ScrumMaster for distributed platform scrum teams
•Facilitate the Scrum or Kanban process of planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives with team and Product Owner.
•Anticipate and aggressively remove obstacles that slow down or prevent teams from delivering objectives
•Lead and contribute to the decision making process and facilitate conflict resolution
•Embrace, coach, and evangelize Agile values and principles in the team and across the organization.
•Focus more on delivery and results rather than ideology
•Define and refine Agile metrics to understand and communicate team performance.
•Work with management and other leaders to continually identify and implement team process improvements
•Provide “go to” leadership, transparency and visibility to the entire Technology & Products organization
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:
•3+ years working as a ScrumMaster for distributed teams
•3+ years experience in Agile development methodologies at scale, specifically Scrum, Lean and/or Kanban
•5+ years of solution management experience for software or online services (PaaS experience)
•Thorough understanding of software development and/or infrastructure processes and lifecycle; ability to adjust and apply this knowledge in a dynamic environment using agile methodologies
•Strong technical aptitude, and experience with software and system components
•Outstanding organizational, communication, interpersonal, relationship building skills conducive to collaboration; able to work well in a cross-functional, matrix management environment
•Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with a history of hands-on, detail orientation
•Proven track record of building motivated, collaborative and productive teams, including remote team members
•Ability to establish credibility and rapport with senior executives and technical and non-technical team members alike
•Ability to work under tight deadlines while being flexible and responding to changing business and technical conditions
•One or more related certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP)
•Big bold ideas and the desire to take risks.
•Ops experience a plus
