| Duties & Responsibilites : | Project manager with 6+ years experience
-An ideal candidate will have worked as a PM managing using formal methodologies.
-This role involves supporting application conversion projects, so any experience in that arena is beneficial.
-Manage, and track the program progress against the program plan.
-Serve as the primary point of contact for all program-related issues and resolution of issues.
-Develop the detailed program plan for the enhancement or development effort through the creation of Vision and Scope and requirements documentation.
-Responsible for the development of estimates for the enhancement or development effort in planning, analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation.
-Coordinate and present proposals to agencies and executive management as necessary.
-Identify and manage program risk and develops risk mitigation strategies, track to closure.
-Responsible for project compliance with standards and procedures.
-Communicate to team members how their work assignments relate to and help achieve program objectives.
-Prepares status reports on a periodic basis for program team, team leads, group leads, and program manager and appropriate stakeholders.
-Communicate and work with users and client as necessary.
-Plan, organize, prioritize, and manage multiple work efforts across application teams.
-Help plan program specific training and orientation needs for program user staff
-Plan, organize, prioritize, and manage multiple work efforts across divisions and other state agencies.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
-Project Management Experience Required 6 Years
-Software Development Life Cycle Required 6 Years
-PM Experience with Integrated Projects or application conversions Required 3 Years
-MS Project Plan and MS Visio Highly desired 3 Years
-Knowledge of NJ state and DHS policy Nice to have 3 Years
-Prior experience with DHS Nice to have
-Strong communication skills Required
