*Responsibilities*

·         For business processes, lead others to implement best practice
integrated system solutions and process changes for complex business
opportunities.  Lead planning, estimation, and documentation of functional
requirements for complex business opportunities.  Proactively research
business process problems.  Collaborate with business, IT technical
resources, and suppliers to evaluate integrated solutions. Design, review,
and present conceptual functional solutions for complex business
opportunities that enable process change, continuous improvement,
competitive advantage, and that challenge the status quo. Plan, oversee,
and deliver functional configuration and implementation of solutions for
complex business opportunities based on design specifications.  Deliver on
time and on budget.

·         Under infrastructure services, conduct risk assessments for
integrated systems and ensure a balanced security posture based on risk.
Recommend updates to IT security policy for emerging threats. Ensure that
all “core” systems are maintained according to architectural guidelines.
Build plans and oversee decommissioning efforts for all “declining” and
“obsolete” systems. Establish measures and reporting of availability,
reliability, and maintainability. Identify unacceptable levels of
availability.  Investigate underlying reasons for incidents of unacceptable
availability and partner with infrastructure teams to design solutions to
mitigate.

·         For capacity / performance produces forecasts of future capacity
needs working closely with infrastructure teams. Understand software
license agreements and ensure compliance for both current and future
needs.  Work closely with business partners to document acceptable system
performance when new types of users or transactions are introduced.

·         Within application services, lead planning, estimation, and
documentation of technical requirements focusing on areas of system
development over and above areas addressed in functional analysis.
Identify incident trends and build proactive plans to eliminate. Technical
design, review, and present technical solutions for complex systems with
multiple integration points, multiple functions, and / or unique logic
requirements that are effective, efficient, maintainable, and that provide
reliability and scalability for new solutions. Plan, oversee, and deliver
technical solutions according to design specifications using techniques
that adhere to IT guiding principles.  Deliver on time and on budget.
Develop standards and oversee technical maintenance of applications
according to architectural guidelines.  Ensure that all “core” systems are
maintained according to architectural guidelines.   Build plans and oversee
decommissioning efforts for all “declining” and “obsolete” systems.

·         For IT processes, lead others in compliant and effective
application of release management processes and procedures.  Assist others
with applying fundamental System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes to
ensure delivery of quality system changes.

·         Manage projects or stages of projects and lead others in the
proper and effective application of project management processes and
procedures.  Execute project management disciplines and conduct quality
reviews to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and
according to approved scope and design specifications.  Lead and assist
others with conducting effective investigation / diagnosis of incidents and
root cause analysis of problems.  Develop, implement and document solutions
in a timely manner and validate with users that service has been restored.
Lead and assist others with conducting proper urgency, impact, and risk
assessment of change requests.  Plan, schedule, implement and document
changes in accordance with core SDLC and Change Advisory Board (CAB)
processes.

·         Lead and assist others in properly identifying operating and
capital expenses and ensuring timely and accurate time tracking of all work
hours.  Produce accurate estimates for all work activities and tasks.

·         Performs other duties as assigned.



*Qualifications*:

*Basic Qualifications:*

·         6+ years of progressive Systems Analyst experience

·         Bachelor’s degree

·         Knowledge of the SDLC

·         Knowledge of Sales Order Entry systems and price management

·         Experience interviewing end users to gather requirements

·         Must have strong communication skills, written and verbal

·         Ability to work on a team as well as independently

·         Strong organizational skills



*Preferred Qualifications:*


·         MS Information technology or related area, or MBA preferred

·         Experience working in outsourced and multi-sourced IT provider
environments

·         Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certification in
Business Systems Analyst
