Duties & Responsibilites :	Environment: The Sr. Java Software Developer shall have extensive experience in software design, software development, program installations and system implementations. The incumbent shall conduct research for, and maintain the computer systems and utilities for commercial and Government engagements. The incumbent shall have extensive experience to analyze customers' needs, design a quality proposal then develop these customized solutions to customer/user problems. The incumbent will establish system parameters and formats; ensure hardware/software compatibility; and coordinate and/or modify user requirements in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and configuration capabilities. The incumbent will develop general and detailed documentation describing system specifications and operating instructions; and revise existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective development processes, data handling, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage. Duties: · Contributes to the analysis and determination of advanced technological ideas and the development into a final product. · Applies advanced technical principles, techniques, theories and concepts. · Contributes to the development of new principles and theories. · Supports management and customers answering questions on advanced technical research studies and applications. · Works on unusually complex technical problems and provides solutions which are highly innovative. Required skills Core Java JPA 2.0, OpenJPA (or any ORM) JAX WS web services, SOAP UI JSP, Struts2, EJB 3.0, JAXB _javascript_ JQuery Junit, Data base knowledge and SQL skills, Web sphere, MQ, Jython (WebSphere scripting language), XML (including parsing), and XSL Desired skills · Languages: HTML, CSS, Groovy, R, Python, Scala · Frameworks: Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Node.js, Drools, Hibernate, Spring JDBC, Grails · Continuous Integration: Cruise Control, Jenkins, Maven · Application Servers/Servlet Containers: Tomcat, Jetty Required Skills:Java,EJB
