| Duties & Responsibilites : | -Responsible for Development, Design and presentation of all Information Security Training for the DSS agency. -Responsible for evaluating, improving and implementing new security training plans -Responsible for executing projects from start to completion -Working collaboratively with CISO and HR, on DSS security training plans -Assess training needs through surveys, focus groups, and interviews with all DSS divisions -Participate in design and testing to develop new security training methods for agency wide upgrades and applications -Consult with all DSS divisions | departments for specific security training content requirements -Manage the DIS Security Training Staff, to include hiring, managing and developing staff -Coordinate all technology resources such as training rooms as well as the learning management system -Develop and review job aides including newsletters etc. -Select and Manage Vendors for appropriate security training programs as needed -Monitor and help to streamline security Training Budget -Stay Current on the latest developments in staff education and career enhancement Education/Relevant Experience Required: -Bachelor's Degree in relevant field -Background in training and instructional design -Minimum of 3 years Management Experience -Minimum of 5 years training experience -Excellent communication and written skills -Leadership experience and ability to motivate and achieve results from others -Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel/Powerpoint Preferred: -MBA or Masters in Instructional Design or Organizational Development -Experience with E-Learning authoring tools (ie. articulate, captivate, etc.) -Prior experience in a top 4 consulting environment or Federal / State Agency -Top organizational skills and attention to detail -Sound judgment and interpersonal communication skills -Well developed problem solving skills -A Self Starter who takes ownership of the job -Works well on a team and has a strong service orientation |
