| Duties & Responsibilites : | Sr. Associate Testing Specialist (UI)
Ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience testing web applications. Candidate will have both strong communication and collaboration skills allowing them to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in a clear and precise manner to the development team, and also share solutions with non-technical audience. Candidate also must have willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
-Responsible for following best practices around testing, defect tracking, test suite maintainability, and quality
-Create testing solutions that can be reused effectively and efficiently
-Accurately estimate testing time through proper channels based on skill-sets of team and schedule
Involvement with projects from project planning and kickoff through project delivery
-Responsible for maintaining automated tests
-Mentor junior team members
-Work with other departments to ensure high quality and timely delivery
-Work comfortably within a dynamic, challenging environment within the parameters of delivery deadlines
-Manage own time and the time of other testers on projects according to estimates developed during project planning
-Must display ability to prioritize tasks effectively
-Ability to adapt to projects that may fall outside of existing technology skills, and show willing to learn new skills
-Must have a collaborative and positive attitude
REQUIRED SKILLS:
-Proficient with testing web and mobile application
-Solid, demonstrated experience with cross browser and multiple device testing
-Proven experience with ADA testing or related
-Experience with Quality tools (QC/ALM)
-Experience with automated testing (QTP/UFT, SoapUI, etc.)
-Experience working in a regulated Industry
-Experience with database systems
-Experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
-Experience with System, Integration, End to End and Regression Testing
-Familiar with eCommerce/internet technology
-Familiar with Agile methodology
-Familiar with Agile planning tools (Version One tool, JIRA, Rally etc.)
