| Duties & Responsibilites : | Local Candidate Only
-Performs design, programming, coding, testing and implementation of assigned RMIS and other applications development and installation projects for clients.
-Meets with managers and users to discuss design specifications.
-Assists in developing software and user program specifications and implementation procedures.
-Researches and establishes necessary processes, data structures, parameters and computer code.
-Designs applications and/or makes modifications according to RSG rules and design standards.
-Provides written and verbal instructions to clients on features and use of database and other applications.
-Trains users on new applications; revises training materials and instructions as needed.
-Provides management and clients with periodic project updates.
-Provides technical input to sales staff and client service managers.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Good Analytical skills
Required Skills:
-Oracle,PL/SQL
-Bachelor’s degree in information technology or similar field
-Experience in PL-SQL, Good skills in PL/SQL, Oracle Report Builder, DB development tools - 4 years
-Good Understanding of relational database systems especially Oracle 10g
-Principles of systems analysis, including business process and entity relationship analysis tools and methods
-Experience in information systems development or database management systems, specifically Oracle - 4 years
-Experience and skill Microsoft Excel/Access
-Excellent communication and analysis skills.
-Willingness to learn new reporting tools/technology
Preferred but not required:
-Experience in an insurance related environment
-Knowledge/Skill in Reporting(Cognos and Crystal)
-Understanding of Risk Management Systems/Claim Systems
-Programming theory and programming languages used in Claims/Risk Management applications
-Needs to create PL/SQL Code from Scratch.
-This is an exclusive backfill for us.
-2-3 years of expereince with Pl/SQL will be enough for this role.
