Data Warehouse ETL Developer
Skills Required:
-Datastage and mainframe (MVS) expereince is required.
- Strong research, analytical and problem solving skills
- Testable strong SQL with complex queries (5+ years)
- Experience in using SDLC for medium-large applications development (5+ years)
- Experience with Data Warehouse Design
- Experience translating business requirements to SQL-based ETL
- Experience with ETL development tools
- Mainframe MVS JCL programming (5+ years)
- Mainframe Job Scheduler experience (5+ years)
- Experience in detailed applications design that utilize SQL and utilize the following databases:
Teradata, DB2, Oracle or SQL Server
- Experience with usage of database utilities
- Experience with version control software
- Proficient testing skills – unit, system, and integration
- Experience with Data Architecture including knowledge of data modeling techniques, entity relationship diagrams
- Very good verbal and written communication skills, able to articulate solutions
Skills Preferred:
- Teradata performance tuning skills
- Knowledge of Teradata Utilities
- Experience with ChangeMan MVS code versioning software
- Experience with Zeke MVS Job scheduler
- Experience with IBM InfoSphere Information Server (DataStage)
- Good knowledge of Unix shell scripts

- Must enjoy working in a team environment developing ETL solutions and detailed designs
- Must enjoy problem solving and working/communicating directly with business partners |
