| Duties & Responsibilites : | Reporting Developer
-Positions in this function use advanced statistical and inferential analysis programs to provide specialized data analysis.
-Organizes, sorts and filters data in order to distinguish patterns and recognize trends.
-Develops and maintains data preparation and validation routines to support data mining and has experience in creating complex data mining algorithms. Selects, recommends and applies appropriate analytic and statistical methodologies and techniques to execute against an analysis plan or research objectives.
- Evaluates new analytics tools and methodologies for possible deployment. creates data warehouses/marts and/or develops data mining analyses to support business decisions.
- Anticipates customer needs and proactively develops solutions to meet them.
- Serves as a key resource on complex and/or critical issues.
- Solves complex problems and develops innovative solutions.
- Performs complex conceptual analyses.
- Reviews work performed by others and provides recommendations for improvement.
- Forecasts and plans resource requirements.
- Authorizes deviations from standards.
- May lead functional or segment teams or projects.
- Provides explanations and information to others on the most complex issues.
- Motivates and inspires other team members.

- Develop/Enhance/Integrate Data Warehouses/Data Marts and Business Intelligence Solutions
- Test Data Warehouses/Data Marts
- Deploy and Maintain Data Warehouses/Data Mart
- IBM Cognos Business Intelligence query and reporting software for ad hoc and standard reporting
- MapInfo Geographic Information Software (GIS)
- Large-scale data warehouse and business intelligence implementation skills, utilizing agile methodology
- Excellent communication skills |
