*Position : Windows Desktop SCCM Engineer * *Duration: 6 Months* *Location: Jersey City, NJ Phone / Face to Face* *Description* · Responsible for architecture associated with a global infrastructure, the ideal candidate will have expert level experience with *Microsoft desktop operating systems (Windows 7 and 8) as well as directory services (Active Directory) and software packaging and deployment.* · Well versed in the Microsoft platform, from an infrastructure perspective as well as from a development platform and automation perspective, the candidate will be a key individual to work with the end user computing support team and help define standards. · A good understanding of the regulatory and compliance challenges that are faced by financial companies as well as how they apply to the different components of a regulated technology platform is a requirement. *Skills Required* · Proven experience with Microsoft Windows desktop operating system architecture and engineering, validated through at least 8 years of SMS/SCCM. · *At least 2 years of Active Directory 2008 hands on experience in a multi-site/multi-domain environment is required*. · Strong experience with user environment control tools as well as information security methodologies and solutions. · Strong experience with scripting/programming language/development: VBscript, Powershell, VB.net, ASP.net, · Working knowledge of Microsoft development technologies (.Net Framework, C#, COM, ADO, OLEDB, Data Access server communications protocols). *Education* · A Bachelors Degree in MIS or Computer Science or a minimum of ten years as a Lead/Senior Engineer in the financial services sector is required.
