Project Description:
As a lead of the capability development team you’ll work on our global web platform. This platform is the home for multiple websites for our global businesses including both informational and ecommerce functionality. You’ll strive to continuously improve the platform and achieve our goals of a best-in-class web platform that:
- Meets the needs of multiple business with different go-to-market strategies
- Gives the business teams control over their sites without IT intervention
- Supports global businesses with multi-language support
- Promotes sharing of content between businesses
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for a team of offshore ecommerce developers, design and develop eCommerce applications using eCommerce software like Endeca, Endeca Experience Manager, Magento Enterprise, Znode and Insite in combination with CMS solutions like Sitecore, and integration with PIM software such as Stibo’s STEP.
- Work with onsite counterpart to align and deliver on common goals
- Provide ongoing architectural guidance to ensure that the platform is stable, scalable and easy to maintain
- Follow Scrum process and participate in all Scrum ceremonies (daily standups, retrospectives, planning, etc)
- Work closely with the business to deliver solutions
- Prepare technical strategies and proposals as part of delivering solution
- Test websites
- Implement / enhance release management process
Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience of developing ecommerce web solutions with a significant product base and transaction volume
- 2+ years of experience of development using tools such as Sitecore, Insite, znode, Endeca, Endeca Experience Manager and Magento Enterprise
- Experience with web services development using C# on the Microsoft .NET platform
- Experience with developing integration solutions to other enterprise systems
- Knowledge of HTML, JS
- Experience with A/B testing using Maxymizer
- Experience working with Scrum teams
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with Stibo STEP desirable.
