-We need a strong candidate to assume the role for System Integrator (SAN).
-The candidate(s) will have above average understanding of SAN hardware (installation, fiber cards, cabling) and 3PP applications (Veritas, PowerPath) required to support Storage Area Networks.
-A strong understanding of standing up SAN is required to include but not limited to: storage design, zoning, LUN presentation.
-Ability to work with cross functional teams to extract and understand storage requirements, make recommednations and ultimately, deploy the SAN.
-Attention to detail is required in this role and the candidate is expected to own storage presentation from the OS and SAN perspectives.
-The candidate(s) will be reporting to the Team Leader for Application Integration however in the event this is a remote resource they will be expected to proactively escalate work stopping issues to their supervisor, work independently to meet schedules and resolve basic issues on their own; complex issues should be referred to the team lead.
Should have experience and competencies with:
- Experience in installing and troubleshooting SAN related third party applications (Veritas, PowerPath)
- Experience and understanding in establishing SAN for Oracle DB and database applications.
- Experience in all aspects of SAN hardware installation
- Deep experience in all aspects of SAN storage presentation.
- Basic Experience in OS patching, upgrade and solutions. Self-motivated and problem solving skills
