| Duties & Responsibilites : | Description and Responsibilities for Salesforce Technical Project Manager:
The Project Manager will initially assist the Program Manager with program management, oversight, monitoring, validation, verification, and risk management activities in the transition from older Oracle technology to a new, flexible, enterprise scale, FedRAMP approved “cloud-based” IT Salesforce platform.
This includes implementing a modular, service based systems architecture that can be easily integrated/interfaced with other systems and web services and include an application platform and design framework that enables IT services and application re-use to drive agility and efficiency in delivering new applications for the client.
Essential functions will include, but not be limited to:
Supporting the Program Manager to ensure delivery on all Modernization Call Orders and taking responsibility for:
Project operations
Supervising a number of projects concurrently
Effectively interfacing with the Client and User community
Leading and providing technical guidance and direction to a staff of analysts and developers who are implementing the Salesforce Platform as the initial call order. As such, this also includes:
-Integrating/interfacing legacy system environments (e.g., System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT)), Final Qualification Testing (FQT), and Production) with the new environment; and
-Iteratively developing, testing, and implementing new modernized features in a highly coordinated and orchestrated way with the legacy system Operations and Maintenance team to avoid disruption of service to the maximum extent possible to system users.
-Utilizing a comprehensive understanding of corporate initiatives, the full IT Systems Development Lifecycle and the Project Management Life Cycle to ensure compliance with program goals and timelines.
-Managing the assignment, development and performance of tasks under the program. Responsible for execution/delivery of each project within the program.
-Additional tasks/responsibilities include but are not limited to: Scheduling Planning and Control; Deliverables and QA; Project Planning WBS, Milestone Charts; Internal Reporting; Risk Management and Problem Solving; Staffing and Performance Management; and Enforcing Work Standards.
Requirements of the Salesforce Technical Project Manager:
REQUIRED SKILLS:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Information Technology Management, Management Information Science, Health, Computer Sciences, or an equivalent business or technical degree and 10+ years of progressive technical and managerial experience within Information Technology.
- An equivalent combination of education, certifications, and related experience may be considered.
Formal PM training, PMP certification preferred.
-Knowledge and experience implementing the Salesforce software platform list above (not just CRM).
Significant project management experience in a similar environment.
-Experience must also include proven client relationship experience, demonstrated financial management, on-time deliverables, as well as several of the other items listed above.
-Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
-Strong organizational, communication, presentation, strategic, and interpersonal skills to act as a liaison with different levels of management.
-U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Residency required. Selected candidates must be able to successfully pass an extensive background investigation.
