Duties & Responsibilites :

Responsible for developing the Core banking technology strategy for commercial banking business.

-The Commercial Ops - Strategy and Analysis team requires an experienced consultant to assist with Commercial Core Platform Assessment initiative to develop a recommendation and business case for the target core DDA (Demand Deposit Accoount) platform (and interfaces) by working closely with Commercial business, operations and technology teams and other key shared resources. Success in this position will rely heavily on an understanding of the associated products, operations and technology options as well as how to successfully compile information from multiple work efforts in a matrix team of resources.
-Senior level competences in communication, integrated thinking and the ability to decipher complex information and present relevant summary to influence executive leadership are required.
-The candidate should also have the ability to connect the dots to develop a comprehensive, robust strategy based on data and facts, to position the Commercial Bank continued long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:
Assists Commercial Ops S&A Lead with all assigned tasks, including: 
- Participates with the core program team with demonstrated experience in performing assessments of this type within tight timeframes 
- Examine the business groups and IT teams that will be impacted and determine those impacts to guide the strategy work 
- Coordinate with all Commercial operational groups to gather the requirements as well as assess the impact of platform change 
- Participates in the target capability requirement gathering sessions and conceptual architecture discussions 
- Engages experienced domain and technical experts who will challenge conventional wisdom in pursuit of the best result  
- Brings required level of business and technology knowledge to provide a perspective on where next-generation platforms are headed and what should be the right platform for Commercial Bank 
- Summarizes information about target capabilities, and strengths and weaknesses of each platform alternative into decision-making frameworks which allow structured analysis of the Core DDA platform alternatives 
- Works with Finance and IT Ops to compile cost information and ensure that the resulting business case is robust, all-inclusive and realistic 
- Injects knowledge of how the target system will impact  customer experience, product capabilities, operational footprint, risk and technology architecture 
- Helps develop technology and change management roadmap associated with the core platform and associated eco-system

Qualifications: 
- Experience with large IT platform (and interfaces) assessment project in banking / financial institution 
- Experience with the Core Commercial DDA platform (FIS Systematics and Profile) is preferred 
- Experience with Commercial Treasury, Payment and other products and operations preferred 
- Consulting experience in a large bank / financial institution 
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) 
- Structured thinking and writing, Analytical background, with experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis 
- Business Systems Analysis, Business Process Management, Lean / Six Sigma, Complex Cost Analysis Experience
