| Duties & Responsibilites : | REQUIRED SKILS:
• BI tools administration experience (preferably Micro strategy, SAS, Tableau) with Windows and UNIX administration expertise. Candidate needs to have background in administration areas in general.
• Some experience as a BI user/developer (SQL, project/universes creation, report creation). Experience in reports metadata creation/management will help.
• Understanding data analysis and data science – preferably data mining, statisticians, data science, financial analysis
• some software development or programming experience – Java to other.
• Need to understand and work with our tool automation.
• Understand and work with business use cases that use BI tools
Required technologies:
• Must have at least one of the following: Micro strategy, SAS, Tableau
• Both Windows and Unix admin experience is accepted, however Linux a bit more desirable
• Not looking for BI developer, but for a BI platform engineer who will host the tools, work with vendors, support the platform for other developers who use the tools
• Will be involved with interacting with other vendors/developers, problem solving, and supporting in-house customers in regards to the tools
• Will work a lot with upgrades to next versions of software, participate in enhancement calls
• Should have programming experience, database knowledge, understanding of Linux/Unix
