-As a Data Analyst you will be a key contributor to software implementation and development projects at McKesson Network Performance Management.
-You will report directly to a Solution Architect who is responsible for technical project governance, solution design, and end-user satisfaction.
-You will be a critical part of the McKesson implementation and software development teams, performing complex data requirements analysis, data mapping and data design, database and data file analysis, data conversion testing and analysis, and providing support for various products and solutions that are part of the McKesson platform.
· Analyze, design, and document complex data solutions to support customer business needs
· Utilize your excellent communication skills to lead data solution design in client-facing settings
· Define and document customer data requirements and solutions
· Analyze, design, document, and support ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes which are part of implementation development
· Consistently deliver high quality documents and solutions that meet design and requirement specifications within stated timelines
· Create custom data design solutions when core product features do not satisfy customer requirements
· Provide quality instruction and training on McKesson’s data solutions in both internal and customer-facing settings
· Perform data analysis of ETL processes, bug verification and root cause analysis, and provide supportive testing for data processes within various products
Position Requirements
Knowledge Experience
· 6+ years of experience in the field of software implementation, analysis, and development
· Bachelors or Masters degree; Computer Science, Engineering or Management Information Systems
· Experience with relational database design and modeling (ERD)
· Experience with data mapping of complex business solutions from one data model to another
· Experience in the implementation of ETL processes and software
· Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
· Experience with Agile development methodologies
· High level of competency with Oracle PL/SQL
· Experience with data governance policies and procedures
· Understanding of various data structure patterns and raw data formats
· Knowledge of the health insurance industry and provider management discipline preferred
· Knowledge of payer, hospital, and physician practice core systems preferred
· Experience with SQL relational database management systems (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) preferred
· Experience with Java database technologies (JDBC) preferred
· Experience with enterprise application integration and products (Tibco, Vitria, SeeBeyond, MQ Series) preferred
