| Duties & Responsibilites : | Position Title ETL Informatica Specialist
Client requires additional information technology staff to augment existing permanent and contract staff within the client. These additional staff will become part of the integrated MITS project team, working with existing staff to implement, maintain, and secure the MITS application and supporting infrastructure.
· Responsible for the successful development of extract/transform/load solutions by designing and building data mappings, designs, develops and implements extract/transform/load processes;
· Responsible for moving/migrate data from the operational and external environments to the business intelligence environment using Informatica;
· Responsible for gathering and assessing business information needs and preparing requirements, driving requirements through to implementation;
· Lead source system analysis and design, help to design and develop data loading processes;
· Assist in the implementation of best practices and robust ETL solutions, create various ETL jobs based on EDW environment Architecture and Data Models that are created;
· Conducts ETL process design and sizing estimates for large scale data warehousing projects;
· Ensure Data Quality and Data Integrity is maintained; and Understand the OCIO’s data sources, current data environment, collaborate with BI team and business SME’s to understand immediate and upcoming data needs.
Experience
· ETL Administrator (Five (5) years Preferred)
· Informatica, Oracle and Unix Skills (Three (3) years Preferred)
· Metadata management and data integrity skills (Three (3) years Preferred)
· Data Warehouse (Three (3) years Preferred)
· Moving/ Migrating data form the operational and external environments to the business intelligence environment using Informatica (Five (5) years Preferred)
· Designing and developing extract, transform, and ETL processes (Five (5) years Preferred)
