| Duties & Responsibilites : | - Local Candidates Preferred - In person Interview required - Plan, direct, or coordinate activities to implement technology solutions for a variety of Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering systems. - The technical skills include using project management methodology to meet the needs of the organization. Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Create and review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity. - Create and maintain project documentation such as WBS, Budget, Communication Plan, and Risk Management Plan. - Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess technology needs and system requirement so Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problem so Evaluate proposals to assess project feasibility and requirements Education/Experience - Bachelor degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.o 5-7 years experience required. - Certification in Project Management by a recognized project management organization (such as the Project Management Institute--PMI) highly desired. - Certification or experience in Agile Project Management methodology highly desired. - Experience with developing software applications in a complex technical environment highly desired. - Experience with eliciting and documenting business requirements highly desired. - Airline Industry and MRO experience desired. Responsibility level: - Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor Required Skills: - Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.o Knowledge of computer hardware and software development. - Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods. - Ability to lead and motivate people, encourage team work, and interact with all levels of the organization. - Knowledge of computer software, such as Visual Basic, Java, SQL, etc. - Project Management |
