UX Designer *Atlanta GA * *6 + months contract* Works closely with the Business Analyst to facilitate requirements gathering through requirements visualization. • Creates user scenarios, navigation flows, wireframes and interactive simulations (low and high-fidelity) based on user-centered design processes for internal and external products. • Identifies user performance metrics. • Follows and helps define standards and pattern library to ensure consistency across product. • Translates business requirements into user interface requirements to inform visual design. • Performs user research and competitive analysis as needed. • Works with GUI and back-end developers to understand technology constraints/advantages for GUI design and to identify data accessibility. • Conducts informal formative and summative usability tests, analyses test results and modifies designs based on test findings. • Communicates all user interface design specifications to the development/QA team via comprehensive design documentation (user interface specifications), per GUI Specification templates. This includes specification of detailed control and behavior as well as properties for all user interface elements.
