Main Function


 


Business Analyst/Project Manager (Agile BA/PM): This role comprises two 
functions. As a Business Analyst, the candidate will work closely with business 
users, functional/support groups, developers and test teams to assist in the 
delivery of strategic solutions, new features and implementations within the 
Benchmark Index framework. The BA will work as a team player and as an 
individual in a global team participating in requirements gathering and 
analysis, design and testing. The BA will work with business users to model 
requirements; write, update and maintain high-level Business Requirements 
documents, User Stories, Test Plans and Acceptance Test Cases then coordinate 
prioritization with techniques such as MOSCOW. Following the requirements 
documentation, the PM will build and coordinate an iterative Project plan with 
the PMO group to continue the project through its life cycle. As a PM the 
candidate will facilitate meetings, removing impediments and ensuring the 
success of the the project. The PM will track and publish the team’s 
achievements to a wider audience as well as the artifacts and status of the 
projects. 


 


Main Duties



·         


Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with 
regulatory requirements, Client’s Operational Risk Framework and internal 
Policies and Standards. 


·         


Close collaboration with the Product Management team and user representatives 
to determine business requirements, including the identification of any 
potential issues or functional omissions; define and document the business 
requirements. 


·         


As part of the development team, coordinate sessions with the development team 
to define a solution; discuss and model the solution including specific data 
needs. 


·         


Coordinate prioritization with ongoing conversations with the product 
management team. 


·         


Steer the testing team for test definition and execution; coordinate with the 
QA to automate new functionality test cases. 


·         


Coordination and execution of User Acceptance testing (UAT); close 
collaboration with the development and marketing teams on testing new 
functionality. 


·         


Manage the team’s development process, progress reporting, identification and 
management of issues/risks and communications as well as documenting and 
storing required artifacts. 


 


Person Requirements



 



Basic Qualifications



·         


Bachelor’s degree 


·         


Must have 9+ Years of overall experience.


·         


Must have 3+ years working knowledge of financial instruments; fixed income, 
derivatives, etc. 


·         


Must have 3+ years of experience as a business analyst experience in the 
financial industry 


·         


3+ years of experience working with MS Office as well as MS Access, MS Excel or 
other project tools including Jira 


·         


3+ years of experience using SQL 


·         


2+ years of experience in scripting languages (shell scripting, perl, etc) 


·         


2+ years of experience working with Agile methodologies
