| Duties & Responsibilites : | -Technical Lead needed for Team to develop new online servicing platform using Angular JS and the primary tool.
-Must have excellent communication skills and be able to lead a team, mentor other developers, work well with all levesl within the organization,
understand business needs and work with Product Owner to develop and delivery functionality based on the requirements (stories).
-Must have worked on Multiple Agile projects preferably with Test Driven Development experience.
Project:
New Online Servicing platform, Single page application using Angular JS. Primary skill sets is Angular _javascript_ frameworks. Strong _javascript_. Bootstrap is helpful MVC Frameworks, etc.
Tech Lead should have deep experience in Angular JS. Some features are created
- Some templates exist. Using product from Oracle (Open Source)
- Unified Presentation Framework. Senior development strength on the team.
Responsibilities:
-Contribute code to the development of multi-platform application systems, through local builds and deployments as well as the CI/CD environments.
-Build modern HTML and _javascript_ driven front-ends to achieve better quality, satisfy stakeholders and delight customers.
-Be an expert on _javascript_ and front end frameworks, collaborate with developers, business partners, architects, and other groups to identify technical and functional needs of systems.
-Ensure adherence to Agile team norms and coding standards, software design best practices, architecture strategy and intent.
Skills:
Banking Online Servicing Platform experience
Heavy _javascript_ (Angular JS), CSS (More UI than Java focused, some services exp ok, but more UI focused for now)
Unit Testing and Integration Testing on UI side (of UI Protractor, Jasmine, etc.) Automated testing
Ruby experience a big plus
Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree or military experience.
-At least 2 years of experience building software in enterprise/commercial environments, including systems and application design, code development and testing.
-At least 3 years experience with _javascript_.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Masters Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
-Demonstrated hands-on coding skills in all the tiers of web front-end development: Front-end MVCs such as AngularJS or EmberJS, _javascript_, HTML5, JQuery and CSS3.
-Mastery of advanced _javascript_ concepts, design patterns.
-Working knowledge of REST APIs and Java in a J2EE environment.
-Understand the concepts of code repositories and be able to commit code to Git or Subversion.
-Experience with test automation such as Selenium, Cucumber or PhantomJS.
-Experience with Agile, Scrum and/or XP.
-Ability to use a variety of open source and commercial technologies and tools.
-Embrace, practice and evangelize frequent, incremental code testing and deployment.
-Working knowledge of the Unix/Linux command line.
