| Duties & Responsibilites : | The Programmer is responsible for analysis, design, coding, component and assembly testing of all application code owned by the Application Team.
-The Lead .NET Developer will lead a team and provide .NET application development services for a mission-critical lab management system.
-The candidate will lead a dynamic enterprise team responsible for performing multiple concurrent projects.
-In addition, the candidate will perform all phases of the SDLC.
-As the team lead, the candidate will be responsible for design and QA activities for all team members in addition to development.
Core technologies to be leveraged are:
VB.NET, C#.NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server 2008, Team Foundation Server and Crystal Reports 2008.
Task Assignments:
- Provide advanced programming skills to high priority IT Portfolio Projects as directed.
- Perform knowledge transfer/transition activities to facilitate the use and maintenance of developed components
- Lead a team of 1 to 5 developers, including assigning work, monitoring progress, code reviews, mentoring, etc.
- Work closely with project manager to develop project plans, estimate work, assign resources to tasks and monitor and report on project progress.
- Meet with end users and technical staff to gather and document requirements.
- Design all layers of a software solution, including web applications, web services, OO components, database objects and end-user reports.
- Develop Internet and intranet web applications.
- Perform ASP.NET and VB.NET application development.
- Develop application assets using VB.NET, ASP.NET, HTML, XML, C# and related technologies.
- Perform SQL Server TSQL database development.
- Perform Business Object Crystal Reports development.
- Diagnose problems, analyze, troubleshoot and choose appropriate solution to fix application component and data-related issues.
