Maintain them to highest levels of systems availability, data delivery, and customer satisfaction and strive to improve them. • Meet partner and end user service uptime requirements (Performance and Availability) with complete accountability of meeting the defined Service Level Agreements (SLA & OLA). Implement and Improvise support tools and automation required to deliver on this critical commitment. • Act as escalations contact for service impacting events, drive sustainable solutions with complete end-to-end ownership. Be proactive in problem management and drive service excellence & quality of Service of ECO Service Offerings. • Understand and contribute to effective Monitoring of the critical components of the System. • Develop deep understanding of the system architectures and contribute to the Service Development Cycle. You will be acting as an operational stakeholder in the service lifecycle including the planning, development, testing, and deployment phase of the product. • Implement or contribute to service KPI measurement and reporting. • Maintain strong partnerships with service engineering groups, downstream user teams and peer operations teams to effectively manage service growth, utilization, and performance. • Drive concurrent projects while ensuring that the execution is appropriately prioritized, risk-balanced, and date driven. • Document processes, procedures, and tools. Keep them current and relevant. • Work location is Sammamish • Candidate will be required to work for Month-end/Quarter End processing which may include 1 weekend/month. Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: • You have 5 years or more years of experience as a SE/OE/DBA managing large-scale database systems in production environments. You have a deep understanding of multi-tier architectures and operational fundamentals associated with managing these systems. You know what is required to run a highly available, highly scalable, efficient and secure service and can demonstrate experience. • You are experienced in managing production environments running Windows 2012 Server, SQL Server 2010 and IIS components. Networking troubleshooting and scripting skills are preferable. You have a good understanding of Load balancing, High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Performance Tuning, and Optimization techniques. • You have strong knowledge and have demonstrated experience in performance monitoring, remote administration, database management, internet technologies. You understand what it means to monitor a service using SCOM. Experience with System Center Service Manager is a plus. • You have a clear understanding of TCP/IP, routing and switching technologies. Knowledge and exposure to complex network architectures, network troubleshooting, load balancing and network security is preferred. Azure experience is a big plus. • You have strong analytical and customer service skills. You can solve problems, exercise good judgment and have good decision-making skills.
