| Duties & Responsibilites : | -We are seeking a UI Developer to be a member of the Technical Software Solutions team and to build high quality user focused web applications.
-You will work closely with a UX designer to develop technical web applications,manufacture and sale of equipment and components used in oil gas drilling and production.
-You will work closely with product owners, web developers, and UX designers to create innovative UIs.
-You will be responsible for developing a best-in-class user-focused solution leveraging the latest in web development technology.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must have at least 5 years industry experience in UI development
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in working on an Agile team
- Experience designing modern web apps
- Proven data model design experience
- Experience with standard tools of the trade such as Visual Studio, HTML5/CSS, JSON, JQuery
- Developing _javascript_ client applications leveraging back-end services over HTTP/JSON APIs. Angular experience is desirable
- Experience developing complex enterprise/productivity applications a plus
- Experience developing mobile apps a plus
- BS in Computer Science with emphasis on UI development or equivalent
Responsibilities:
- Develop graphically rich application UIs
- Act as liaison between API team, UI team, and DB team
- Participate in user testing sessions
- Work closely with product owners and UX designers to collect requirements and verify design feasibility
- Research UI design and development techniques to find innovative and elegant solutions to complex UI problems
- Design and implement unit, component, and system tests in coordination with QA and other developers to ensure quality
- Provide tier 2 application support
