| Duties & Responsibilites : | - Develop back-end capabilities to support a web-based application that allows users to interactively create and modify business intelligence reports for national merchants - Develop and implement infrastructure and APIs to support the application, working closely with web developers to determine requirements - Ensure data quality, perform data normalization, build pipelines to auto-update with new transaction data - Interact with data in both relational database and Hadoop environments - Develop big data scale analytics to provide innovative views of the data to the application - Engage with business analysts to determine data needs - Inform strategic infrastructure decision-making to support application Skills & Knowledge Required - Python, Java, C, C++, or similar languages (5/5 level) - SQL or other relational database structures (3/5) - Hadoop (2/5) |
