Duration: 6+ Months Location: New Jersey, USA Position # 2 Job Description: Modeling Experience ¨ Experience with design and maintenance of an Enterprise Canonical Model ¨ Experience in hierarchal data modeling ¨ Ability to quickly learn existing domain models. ¨ Ability to determine the appropriate domain model for a given project and to determine when a new domain model is needed. ¨ Exposure to Insurance data concepts (Policy, Claims, Booking) is a plus n Analytical ¨ Ability seek out potential data sources to draw from and then extract the important information from a variety of potential starting points, such databases, application-specific xml, spreadsheets, or conversations with SMEs. ¨ Ability to recognize patterns in data. ¨ Analyze and categorize data, especially in large volumes and determine the data that is appropriate on an integration model. n Leadership ¨ Ability to lead discussions with groups of SME’s and to ensure meetings are effective and consensus is reached in appropriate timeframes. n Detail-Oriented ¨ Attention to detail is crucial to ensure proper usage of models. ¨ Ensure proper alignment to existing metadata business elements. n Holistic Thinker ¨ Ability to think beyond just the current project data requirements. ¨ Ability to think beyond the current service and business process and consider future potential uses for the same data. n Communication Skills ¨ High degree of communication with others required, ability to crisply communicate key points is required. n Technical Proficiencies ¨ Experience in xml schema message design ¨ Understanding and experience with Service Oriented Architecture ¨ Ability to grasp a variety of technical concepts in order to communicate effectively with architects and developers and to translate their technical requirements into a solution.
