Technical Must Haves:

-Domino 8.x, Sametime, Quickr and GoodLink (Was focus of the call)
The Windows XP and 7 experience is from an OS perspective and they need to be familiar enough to walk customers through issues. They also need to have excellent customer service skills as they are dealing with Managers, VPs and C-level execs. This is the 3rd level of support/admin.
Soft Skills: Good communicator, hard worker, good collaborator and customer service.


Their top three tech priorities:
1. Domino 8.5x
2. Sametime
3. Quickr

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Lotus Notes,Linux,Lotus Domino,Windows XP,Windows 7

The day to day is usually:
1. Helpdesk tickets (level 3)
a. 50% user client issues
b. 30% domino issues
c. 20% sametime and quicker
2. Overall production support.

Client Description:
Administration of Lotus Notes/Domino 8.5x, Sametime 8.0.2, Quickr and GoodLink. Provide day-to-day support including analysis, debugging and maintenance for large scale enterprise messaging applications.

Provide analysis, design, testing, debugging, maintenance, and documentation for complex enterprise applications. This requires in-depth technical expertise across multiple platforms, operating systems and tools.

Strong customer support and troubleshoot skills. Helpdesk tickets, and participate in after hours On-call support rotation.

Support for mobile and web based access to Messaging and Collaboration applications, tools and devices.

Required Experience:
- At least three years experience working with Notes / Domino Mail and Application Administration.
- Experience in the set up, configuration and maintenance of Lotus / Domino 8.5x servers.
- Experience with Windows XP and Windows 7, Windows 2003/2008 server, Linux.
- Experience in troubleshooting smtp mail routing, spam issues with smtp gateway products such as ProofPoint, IronMail, MailMarshal, etc.
- Experience with TCP/IP, DHCP, SMTP, HTTP, FTP, POP3, IMAP, LDAP, etc. required.
- Basic knowledge of mobile devices such as iPhone/iPad and Android phones and tablets.
- Basic working knowledge of enterprise networking including firewalls and routers, etc.

Other Skills/Project Details:
- Strong customer service skills - able to communicate effectively to endusers at all levels of the company.
- Strong analysis, troubleshooting, prioritization skills.
- Good project and task management skills.
- Track record for recognizing opportunities for improvements such as cost reduction, time saving or automation.
- Experience with creating easy to read and follow documentation for system configuration, change mgt., procedures, etc.
