RESPONSIBILITIES
•             Daily support of the electronic trading environment.
•             Use industry knowledge to proactively inform businesses of
the impact upcoming changes to relevant electronic trading products as well
as to formulating a plan for change release.
•             Engage with vendors in all stages of their products’ life
cycle including discovery, evaluation, implementation and future direction.
•             Contribute to the design and implementation of new and
re-engineered market data electronic trading systems.
•             Provide consultation for the business and business
application development teams on electronic trading solutions that meet
their requirements.
•             Engage with global team to establish standard product and
service offerings.
•             Engage with greater technology team and project management in
large project efforts.
•             Delivery of production solutions that minimize day to day
support effort taking into account system instrumentation/monitoring to
provide a robust, resilient and efficient operating model.
•             Produce and maintain technical documentation for support
purposes to aid the global team

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

MANDATORY

•             Expert knowledge of market data electronic trading systems
including (but not limited to) Fasttrack, BrokerTec, GFI, Trayport,
MarketAxess, Web ICE, Credited and XTAuctions!.
•             Exceptional communication, prioritization and team working
skills, with specific experience of supporting systems in a trading
environment.
•             Proven record of managing risk in a dynamic environment.
•             Understanding of software deployment processes, with
experience in high-volume environments.
•             Strong understanding of Network and Operating Systems
(predominantly Windows).
•             Active Directory and Group Policy knowledge.
•             Experience of change processes in a large scale environment
to minimise risk.
•             Demonstrate knowledge of monitoring and instrumentation tools
and their implementation.
•             Strong scripting skills (sh/ksh/perl).
•             Financial markets/exchange knowledge

PREFERRED

•             Understanding of Linux Operating Systems
•             Java development

QUALIFICATIONS

•             Minimum of 5 years relevant experience is required.
•             Bachelors Degree or equivalent in a technical discipline.
