-This position is responsible for developing BI solutions using SAP BusinessObjects XI.
-The candidate will be a member of a dynamic enterprise team responsible for multiple concurrent projects across various business areas.
-The candidate will perform all phases of the SDLC.
-The position requires advanced problem-solving skills to build and maintain complex, analytical BI solutions.
-The candidate should also have a strong understanding of data warehouse concepts.
-Core technologies utilized are SAP BusinessObjects XI Web Intelligence, Universes, Dashboards (Xcelsius), Crystal Reports 2008, and RDBMS such as Oracle 11g, MS SQL Server 2008+, and IBM DB2.
Specific Duties
-Develop reports, dashboards, universes, and analytics using the SAP Business Objects XI tool suite (Web Intelligence, Universe, Dashboards (Xcelsius), and Crystal Reports 2008) for an enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) portal.
-Develop complex Oracle analytical queries, views, and PL/SQL procedures and functions. Additionally, MS SQL Server and DB2 querying may be required.
-Meet with end users and technical staff to gather and document requirements.
-Diagnose, analyze, troubleshoot and choose appropriate solutions to fix BI component and data-related issues, including query tuning when needed.
