• Expert/senior level experience designing all aspects of the entire EDW/BI/Big Data ecosystems
• Understanding of EDW/BI technical architectures including security, database schema understanding, ETL, and various BI reporting environments required
• Knowledge and experience with leading enterprise portal and collaboration capabilities
• Understanding and exp. with Big Data architectures and tooling such as Hadoop, Hive, Pig, etc.
• Experience with HDFS/HBASE/Cassandra/etc preferred
• Strong SQL skills
• Well-developed organizational and planning skills with a solid attention to detail and follow-up
• Ability to effectively work in a large, geographically diverse system
• Able to work independently, self-directed and solution oriented
• Effective communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
• Expertise in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SQL skills required
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases
• Familiarity/working understanding of SOA architectures
