| Duties & Responsibilites : | -Senior Active Directory Engineer - enterprise level, Windows Server 2012 (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer preferred)
-Active Directory forests, migrating users, groups, computers and applications between forests, ADAM, LDS, MIISILMFIM,
-Integration of applications with Active Directory via LDAP and Kerberos for authentication and authorization
-_vbscript_ or PowerShell to develop complex automation scripts
-The primary function of the Active Directory engineer will be to assist in the upgrade of Active Directory environments to Windows Server 2012 and to assist lines of business in migrating applications across domains.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare and perform upgrades of forests to Windows Server 2012
- Promote servers to domain controllers
- Develop playbooks and partner with application teams to migrate business applications to target state domains
- Inventory existing domains for servers and applications
- Research relationship of servers to applications and applications to lines of business
- Analyze application surveys and develop individual migration plans
- Understand and document how applications leverage Active Directory for authentication and authorization
- Partner with application teams during migration of applications to target state domains
- Decommission legacy domains At least three years of Active Directory experience that includes designing, implementing and maintaining complex enterprise level Active Directory solutions
- Experience performing large scale upgrades of Active Directory forests
- Experience integrating applications with Active Directory
- Experience providing operational support for large-scale enterprise level Active Directory environments
- Experience migrating users, groups, computers and applications between forests
- Excellent communication skills including proven experience effectively communicating technical challenges and solutions to peers, customers, and senior management
- Experience leading and coordinating efforts and resolving issues across multiple teams
- Experience with Windows Server 2012 Active Directory
- Experience with additional directory technologies such as ADAM, LDS, MIISILMFIM preferred
- Experience with integration of applications with Active Directory via LDAP and Kerberos for authentication and authorization
- Experience in _vbscript_ or PowerShell to develop complex automation scripts
- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or an equivalent certification
