*Position : Sharepoint Developer Location : Seattle , WA* *Duration : 4+ Months Phone then Face to Face* *Description* · The Senior SharePoint (SP) Developer is responsible for performing solution design, development, maintenance, enhancements, customization and integration as a member of the Corporate development team. · You will collaborate with the Director of Corporate Application Architecture, other members of the development and administrative staff as well as infrastructure teams to produce sound solutions that deliver business value for our internal clients. *RESPONSIBILITIES:* · Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing effective solutions meeting business · requirements and leveraging SP capabilities. · Create technical design documents by translating business and functional requirements into system requirements, prototype and implement solutions. Ensure performance, reliability, scalability meet enterprise needs. · Identify and implement SP best practices for developing SP solutions, design and develop reusable · SharePoint components / solutions, incorporate standard SP artifacts as well as 3rd party components. · Provide design documents, participate in code reviews, collaborate with contract and internal development resources. · Enhance existing solutions through review and recommending improvements, upgrades or migration to newer technologies. · Coordinate solution development work with business analysts to ensure adequate requirements are established and SP capabilities are exploited. · Effectively collaborate with Knowledge Management resources and cross? functional IT team resources to bring innovative SP solutions to clients. *QUALIFICATIONS:* · BA/BS degree (preferably in information technology or software development) or equivalent strong work experience · 5+ years development knowledge and experience with the SP 2010 and SP 2013 (Hands on project experience with SP 2013 is strongly desired, but is not an absolute requirement. Advanced experience in SP 2010 is required.) · Demonstrated experience in HTML5, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript, Visual Studio, TFS, SSRS, Powershell, client side solutions, BCS. *REQUIRED SKILLS:* · Experience in SP based enterprise line of business applications including integrations with heterogeneous technologies. · Experience in content management including leveraging managed metadata, taxonomies, folk sonomies, content types, records centers. · Experience providing estimates, managing project scope to meet time and budget objectives, working independently as well as with a team, working with cross functional teams and external resources, handle multiple ongoing projects. · Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Able to provide and receive feedback in a team environment, possess strong commitment to good process and a high standard of quality.
