Client is looking for Sr. Java Developer who will be responsible for design and development of new modules.
- Lead EDRS programming team.
- Solid understanding of web best practices and standards.
- Experience with coding with _javascript_ and HTML/CSS.
- Candidate must have experience of end to end from design to implementation.
- Ability to self-manage and keep track of multiple projects.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with other designers, developers.
- Experience with Java/J2EE.
- Experience in Oracle PL/SQL
Role Description:
- Coordinate design reviews to verify that design meets quality standards and functional/technical requirements.
- Provide accurate estimates for design and programming efforts for system changes and enhancements.
- Coordinate enhancements between business and IT
- Confirm that technical architecture will support all changes required by product enhancements.
- Effectively lead product tests and trials.
- Identify appropriate business examples to illustrate key concepts / features.
- Anticipate, identify, track and resolve issues and risks affecting own work and work of the Application Team.
- Develop contingency plans as necessary.
- Apply specific expertise to ensure that products meet defined customer objectives.
- Anticipate and resolve issues specific to the team.
- Determine time estimates and schedule for own work and resolve issues in a timely manner.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
-Java Required 5 Years
-J2EE v1.4 Required 5 Years _javascript_ Required 5 Years
-HTML Required 5 Years
-CSS Required 5 Years
-Oracle PL/SQL (Data loading/reporting and familiarity with synonyms, triggers, functions, packages, and views) Required 5 Years
-Oracle Weblogic 11g Required 5 Years
-Strong Leadership Skills - worked as team lead with 2 or more team members Required 3 Years
-JBuilder (Java IDE) Desired 3 Years
-Shell scripting, PDF automation, Excel/Jasper reporting, familiarity with image processing, familiarity with financial batch transaction processing Desired 3 Years
-IIS 7 Nice to have 3 Years
-Visual SourceSafe Nice to have 3 Years
