| Duties & Responsibilites : | -This position would provide user experience support services MiWaters application: -These positions will assist with the usability test planning and coordination, execution and report deliverable. - DEQ MiWaters project has requested that Usability Testing (2 days of testing) be conducted on the external public facing portion of the application. -The goal of the usability testing is to identify usability issues within the MiWaters application and determine the test participants efficiency, effectiveness and satisfaction with the application. -The testing technicians will: assist in creating test scripts and materials for the usability test, note-taking during usability sessions, assist in analysis of test data from sessions, and aiding in final deliverable report. Prior to Usability Test: • Assist with creating moderator script • Assist with creating test materials During the Usability Test: • Capture notes during test After the Usability Test: • Review notes from session and create data to be used within final deliverable • Assist with drafting final deliverable that would summarize usability issue discovered. Skills Required Real-world experience in web site redesign to improve user interface experience. Experience with user experience methodologies. Experience and knowledge of web accessibility, Section 508 requirements. Skills Preferred Experienced user experience researcher, including website redesigns, web accessibility, focus group evaluations, usability testing, and expert reviews. Experience Required Usability evaluation data analysis for government and corporate websites/applications. Experience Preferred User experience researcher, e.g., usability evaluations, use interface heuristic evaluations, focus groups, card sorts, website redesigns, and taxonomy design. Education Required Completion of High School with a minimum of one year experience working on user experience research projects for government or corporate clients. Education Preferred BA or BS in human psychology. INTERVIEW PROCESS: In Person |
