We're seeking an experienced software engineer with industry experience with FEI's commercial version of OpenInventor (version 8.5 and above). Some of the tasks involve:
- Upgrading and porting our existing 3D software to FEI's latest version of OpenInventor (9.4 or 9.5),
- Taking advantage of the latest OpenInventor features to significantly enhance our existing 3D visualization software, in the context of intravascular coronary imaging using Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) technology.
- Advanced Volume Rendering
- Mesh-based and Surface-based Rendering
- 3D Space deformations.
- "Fly through" and advanced navigation features.
- Enhanced display performance.
- Masters in Comp Sci or Engineering (strongly prefered)
NICE TO HAVE:
. Medical Device would be a plus
- PhD in EE or Comp Sci a plus
- Prefer them to have Cmake abd OpenGLDescribe Project, (details that are not in description):
-This personwill help with upgrading the current version of Open Inventor, from 8.5 to9.5 likely.
-They would prefer them to have FEI version of Oven Inventor.
-This will take a couple of weeks then they will move onto the 3D development which is very cutting edge.
-The catheter scope they use is going to be able to submit fullimages of the vesselsto help better understand blockages,where to place stints, corrective action etc.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year industry experience 3D software development using OpenInventor. FEI's version 8.5 and above is strongly recommended. (formerly VSG)
- Proficient with Visual Studio for C++ development
- U.S. or foreign Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in computer science, computer engineer or a related field.
- At least 5 years industry experience with Object-Oriented software development in C++.
Nice to have:
- Experience with OpenGL is a plus.
- Experience with Direct3D is a plus.
- Experience with VTK is a plus.
- Experience with CMake is a plus. |
