Duties & Responsibilites :

Environment:
The Client supports the Social Security Administration by providing a broad spectrum of information technology services and solutions.

SSA's Information Technology Support Services Contract (ITSSC) provides critical systems, applications, and software to enable the SSA's Retirement, Disability and Supplemental Security programs to provide over $786B of socio-economic security to over 62M citizens annually.

The Disability Case Processing System (DCPS) program will unify a number of independent and disparate systems to provide increased speed, quality, and effectiveness in the case review and decisional processes.

These programs employ a wide range of information technologists, with skills in JAVA, .NET, Big Data, Database Administration, SharePoint, Hadoop, Business Intelligence, Data Modeling, Agile Development, Systems and Software Engineering, and Systems and Software Architecture.

Required:
? Languages: Java, JEE, XML, JSON, SQL, _javascript_
? Databases: Two or more of: MySQL, Derby, or similar RDBMS
? IDEs: Eclipse
? Version control: One or more of: Subversion (SVN) , Git, Mercurial


Desired Skills:
? Languages: COBOL, HTML, _javascript_, CSS, Groovy, R, Python, Scala
? Frameworks: Struts, Spring MVC, Spring Security, JSP, Node.js, JUnit, Drools, Hibernate, Spring JDBC, Grails
? IDEs: RStudio
? Continuous Integration: Cruise Control, Jenkins, Maven
? Application Servers/Servlet Containers: Tomcat, Jetty

MUST HAVE 11 YEARS OF OVERALL EXPERIENCE:
? The 11 years does NOT have to all be in Java
? The 11 years CAN include internships and work in other countries
? All 11 years must but shown on the resume
