Position: UX Designer Location: Warren/ Edison, NJ Duration: Long Term Contract Interview: Telephonic and In person Job Description UX/User experience. Pure creative - no development experience required. Must have worked with organizations where some guidelines are followed like would have its own set of colors, fonts etc to use which he/she will have to keep in mind designing. Responsibilities · Define the user experience standards for our software development teams · Communicate these standards across the development organization and train developers · Conduct user experience reviews of existing products and put together process and plans for their continuous improvement · Work closely with users, program managers, and developers to bring the team’s ideas to life · Interface directly with execs, business partners, and users to fully understand design requirements · Create the underlying frameworks and experience architectures, interaction flows, and supporting collateral that will communicate the proposed experience to execs and partners · Represent interaction design throughout the end-to-end product lifecycle and deliver production assets as needed The UX Designer should have deep knowledge and practical experience in software design, from design concept creation to development and release and possess excellent communication abilities. Required Skills / Experience · 8 plus years of visual/interactive design experience (and the portfolio to prove it) with a primary focus on data presentation and visualization · 8 plus years of leading and/or individually contributing to multiple UX design projects · Minimum of BA/BS degree in Interface Design, Interaction Design, Industrial Design, Communication Design, or equivalent · Complete mastery of programs like Flash, Illustrator and Photoshop · Demonstrated expertise in HTML, CSS and XML/XSL. · Creativity, problem-solving, passion for user experience design and attention to detail are critical. · Experience designing highly interactive user experiences by developing wireframes, prototyping functionality · Great interpersonal skills; strong partner / relationship management experience · Strong project management, communication, and presentation skills · Experience with early-stage design and ideation · Solid understanding of the design process and demonstrated experience shipping usable interactions Thanks and Regards, Chandan IRIS Software, Inc.
