-The Sugar CRM Developer will carry out a wide-ranging set of duties, including:
-Design, develop and maintain core application framework and modules for the SugarCRM web application and functionality using HTML, CSS,
-_javascript_, PHP, SQL
-Rapidly produce high-quality, readable, scalable, secure, performant software
-Implement, test and deploy changes from dev to staging to live instance including application updates
-Troubleshoot and mitigate escalated support issues on multiple environments
-Benchmark deployments, identify bottlenecks, and optimize performance.
Required skills:
-Expertise with SugarCRM development
-Expertise with Apache, SSH, PHP, and MySQL
-Experience with Amazon Web Servers (AWS)
-Ability to write semantically sound, maintainable and extensible HTML, CSS, and _javascript_ using current standards for cross-platform and cross browser compatibility
-Ability to write object-oriented PHP code, preferably in a CRM web application
-Ability to extend various web applications (primarily CRM) through code
-Comfortable with jQuery (or equivalent JS library) development
-Comfortable with TFS version control
-Good understanding of web optimization and user interface development principles
-Thorough understanding of Restful Architecture and use of integration with APIs
-Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
-Strong client-facing and interviewing skills to gather and document requirements
-Strong documentation for knowledge retention and cross training
-Solid communication skills and strong customer service orientation
