• Strong expertise in developing and maintaining enterprise-wide data
models including data warehouses, operational data stores and master data
repositories

• Experience in implementing EDW best practices and standards in data
modeling and architecture

• Ability to analyze and develop complex database designs, data models, and
relationship modeling

• Review/assess existing data processing methods and techniques and
identify the gaps

• Depict the flow of data within and between technology systems and
business functions/operations

• Identify and resolve information flow and content issues

• Interact with the Business Owners and Leads to get functional
requirements

• Conduct interviews, brain storming discussions with project teams to
gather non-functional requirements

• Transform business requirements into logical and physical data models

• Work with the application development teams throughout the development
life cycle Experience

• 7+ years of experience in the field of Data warehousing

• 5+ years of experience in Data warehousing Modeling

• 3+ years of experience in Erwin

• 2+years of experience in Teradata

• Exposure to ETL tools like Informatica, Data Stage, etc. and BI tools
like Business Objects, Microstrategy, etc.

• Excellent personal communication, leadership, and organizational skills



*JOB DESCRIPTION: *Benchmark Description: Provides overall direction,
guidance and definition of an enterprise's architecture to effectively
support the corporate business strategy. Responsibilities include
researching, analyzing, designing, proposing, and delivering solutions that
are appropriate for the business and technology strategies. Must have
significant business knowledge and have one or more areas of technical
expertise in which they concentrate. Interfaces across several business
areas, acting as visionary to proactively assist in defining the direction
for future projects. Responsible for conception of solutions, building
consensus and the selling and execution of such solutions. Summary:
Responsible for designing architecture for the organization on an
enterprise level. Responsibilities: Define system and application
architectures. Lead review and evaluation of all project feasibility
studies. Work with business units to develop integrated solutions to
resolve highly complex technical and business issues. Lead multiple
projects and assist in others as the subject matter expert. Education:
4-year college degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Systems, Business Administration or related discipline Other Skills: 7-10
years of IT work experience in multiple IT areas and relevant
enterprise-wide architecture experience in one or more specialty areas.
Required experience or knowledge of current technologies and one or more
the following: message oriented middleware and service oriented type
architectures, J2EE/EJB, EAI, EDI, XML, UML, Rational Rose, data modeling,
data architectures, Zachman framework methodology, metadata techniques and
repositories, UNIX, SMTP, POP, NNTP, SNMP, C, C++, Perl, JAVA, J2EE, Oracle
programming.
