• Solid understanding of Directory Services such as Active Directory and IBM LDAP technologies
• Familiarity with IBM Security Identity Manager
• Solid understanding of role based access control (RBAC)
• Ability to elicit RBAC requirements from Technical owners and SMEs
• Ability to translate RBAC requirements into role and group design
• Familiarity with Unix security
• Experience with complex distributed system integrations
Responsibilities:
• Gather functional requirements (types of users, groups, levels of access, process change requirements)
• Gather Technical requirements (OS levels, preferred platforms, etc.)
• Choose preferred Directory Service technology
• Design role and/or group structures
• Design the architecture of the system and integration with the clients
