-Project management, scheduling, communication and control for multiple projects within the Finance Information Layer (FIL) Program.
-Lead a cross functional team to contribute, align and complete project deliverables according to System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Company Quality Management System (QMS) (see Application Development Standard ).
-Clear road blocks, solve problems of competing priorities.
-Support team members estimation and work planning process so they commit to realistic deadlines.
-Resolve ambiguity with “right sized” written communication.
-Communicate complicated ideas and technical details in clear business terms that align to technical solutions.
-Manage the critical path, where time is paramount and resources are limited.
-Schedule work, verify work products, conduct meetings with multiple stakeholders and track status.
-Document risks, mitigation plans and manage change control process across the team.
-Communicate project status weekly, ensure end goals are being addressed and solution developed align to other projects in the FIL program.

REQUIREMENTS:
-Excellent written  verbal communication.
-Involves people in the planning process, leads rather than dictates (i.e. leads/supports teamwork, yet manages/holds accountable to agreed deliverables/schedules).
-5 + years progressive experience delivering projects on time and budget.
-Experience with both waterfall and agile methodologies.
-Experience working with offshore/onshore resources.
-Proven ability to lead cross functional teams through ambiguity into clarity to complete work quickly at the right level of quality.
-Focused, intentional self-starter who looks to complete work “early”.
-Positive attitude, ability to see positive change opportunities, motivates others towards teamwork, speed  excellence.
-Asks, “How can this be done faster”, rather than argue “It can’t be done”.
-Efficiently cuts to the heart of concerns, able to resolve issues into solutions.
-Effective in all areas of life, well rounded and strong desire toward personal and professional success.


SYSTEMS/TECHNOLOGY EXPERIENCE:
-Business Critical System upgrade experience.
-Preferably proprietary legacy to proprietary new (innovating with current functionality).
Examples:
-Data access used to take a lot of programming in .NET 2.0 now in .NET 4.5 it’s built into Entity Framework.
-Multi-threading used to take a lot of programing in .NET 2.0 now in .NET 4.5 it’s built into Task Parallel Library.

PROJECT:
-New Application Development:
-Proprietary .NET systems for scenario generation and analysis used in risk management and valuation of Insurance and Annuities lines of business.
-Current systems (20+) are end of life and we will be integrating into a single system called Unified Hedge.
-Migration of existing functionality to new Software packages.
-New hardware/middleware solutions:
-Includes cloud.
-Business Intelligence and data warehouse dependencies and integration: Oracle, Sql Server and other BI tools TBD.
